Irmen Wedding - Dawt Mill, Tecumseh Missouri

I knew from the first details I heard about this wedding that it was going to be beautiful and it was one I definitely wanted to photograph. Dawt Mill is a beautiful wedding location and it was absolutely the perfect place for this adventurous, outdoorsy couple to tie the knot. I do a very limited number of weddings every year, and I'm really glad this was one of them.

Rainy Day Photo Shoot

My friend Heather who is also a photographer drove up from Arkansas to assist me on a photo shoot and help me shoot a wedding this weekend. We had a few spare hours and it was a perfect cloudy/rainy day so we grabbed a $6 thrift store dress and headed for the river. She makes a great model but she's also a pretty awesome photographer!

Check out her work at www.heatherparady.com.

Dance Recital Photos

This is one of my favorite things I've ever been able to do. Photographing these lovely dancers is SO fun! I love working with Erin who was the amazing teacher at Take The Lead and now has her own awesome dance studio: Dance Mission. Check it out if you're looking for a great place for dance lessons for you kiddos!

Baby Josie Arrives

There is really no greater honor as a photographer than to be invited into a moment as precious and intimate as a new baby being born. Sarah said I could share a few photos from Josie's birthday today. It was really hard to choose just a few when the whole day is full of intense, emotional and beautiful moments but I think these share the story pretty well. Thank you Cody and Sarah for trusting me to be a part of these moments! Birth photography isn't something I do very often as it's very hard to coordinate, so I'm really glad this worked out!

Lauren Slamb - Nixa High School 2016 Senior

Had fun creating some magical senior photos with Lauren on this beautiful Spring day! A huge thanks to her parents for coming along and helping carry all of the props and hold the reflector and blowing the bubbles! :)

The Great Game of Business - Professional Head Shots

It was an honor to work with some of the awesome people over at The Great Game of business creating new head shots full of personality for their website and advertising. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!

Emily's Senior Photos - Hollister High School Senior Class of 2016

Emily is breaking all kinds of rules and not letting the world determine her future. She is the first girl in her family to graduate high school, and will be the first to go to college. And she is doing this all as a teen mom in foster care. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see where the future takes her. We took her senior photos in Ozark at some of my favorite photo spots and I hope she loves them as much as I do.

Mother Daughter Spring Session

I've had the opportunity to work with Megan on several different occasions now and every time I fall in love with the images we create together. This session she brought along her lovely daughter for some beautiful mother daughter photos and I have to say these are some of my favorite photos yet.

Academy of Hair Design - 2016 Hair Wars

I have a blast photographing these fun and creative photos for The Academy of Hair Design every year. Their students are incredibly talented and the attention to detail is clear. The models did a great job as well. I think the photos we created are a great example of what teamwork between barbers and cosmos, estheticians and a photographer can create.

Corporate Head Shots - Jack Henry Associates

Had the awesome opportunity to work with the recruiting group over at Jack Henry Associates. They wanted some new professional head shots for their social media profiles and we had a great time creating these for them!

2017 Senior Rep - Savannah Nixa High School Senior

I've had the pleasure of working with Savannah before as well as taking her older sisters photographs. Her family is one of the best around and you can tell when you meet her that she has an amazing heart on the inside as well as being beautiful on the outside. She works at the local flower shop, is really involved at her church and often participates in missions trips. I know there are great things in store for her future.

2017 Senior Reps

Thanks so much to all of these lovely girls for modeling for me for my new senior website! These are all amazing girls who were super fun to work with and obviously they are all beautiful as well! Inside and out!

Morton Family

These are some of my very favorite people and some of the very first people to ever trust me as their photographer when I first started my business. We had a cold windy day for their family photos and a little bit of a rough start for the kiddos but after some food and switching to a sunnier location, we got lots of smiles and had lots of fun!
